Our goal is to clean up the Brock Dump immediately and have it closed permanently. This will help prevent any more contamination entering the neighbouring properties and of course, the Gibson Hill swamp. This will be one less source of polution entering the waters of Lake Simcoe.
During our campaign to close the Brock Dump, we are attempting to educate ourselves and the citizens of Brock and Georgina about the importance of proper waste management, recycling and conscientious efforts to keep waste to a minimum.
Waste disposal is an enormous problem but it can be handled safely and can be kept to a minimum if everyone participates. |
